Hands In Your Pants is a Copenhagen based NGO working to create a community for men, who have been affected by testicular cancer.
The bad news...
Every year 300 men in Denmark are diagnosed with testicular cancer, which is one of the highest rates in the world.
The good news...
Testicular cancer is a highly cureable cancer, around
95 percent gets cured with the current treatment if the cancer is detected early on.
The stuff no one talks about...
Testicular cancer is still cancer and everyone affected by it has to come to terms with their own mortality.
For many men this ensues negative mental health effects in part because we as men are not always good
at talking about we feel.
The Day I Found Out
We want to change the narrative around mens mental health and make it okay for all men to talk about how they feel. That's why Stuey came up with the idea of doing a series of sit down interviews and talking about the day, we found out that we had testicular cancer. Take a look.
